The person working for this position will update and maintain information on the computer database and in its archives. The role of a Data Entry position is too crucial for any firm as the whole organization relies on the data for its operations and usage. Typical work activities listed on the Data Entry Resume are – preparing and sorting documents for entering in the database, entering the data into database software as specified by the authorities, checking the accuracy of data that is being inputted, resolving discrepancies in information, obtaining further data if needed, creating data backups, updating data, and performing software updates.
